This book invaded my thoughts for the few days I was reading it. Affected my encounters with other people...it may not be an enjoyable read but it affects your thought patterns.
Rushdie is a brilliant writer, and this is one of those books that you have to read slowly to be sure you take it all in. You have to be patient, but it's well worth it.
