I enjoyed it, but not as much as the Vampire Academy series. It just didnt have as much romance and was a slower paced book. I did like it though, it's great for fans of Adrian to see how he's coping and trying to move on since the end of the other series. Sydney is a very interesting character to learn more about, I like her quiet, calculated rebellion, selfless personality. Very different from typical selfish, thoughtless YA book heroines.
