A typical dystopian story, somewhat cliche in modern times, but surely less so at the time it was written. It is a good summary of Ayn Rand's philosophy and the failures of collectivism. Shows the path we are unknowingly headed down.
I liked Dharma Bums better, but this was still a great book -- made me wish I was barreling down route 66 in a large 8 cylinder beast blaring out Dizzy seeing how fast I can make it coast to coast -- Note: I am actually re-reading this book!! I need the inspiration!!
