I fun flight of fancy about Penelope, the young governess who has recently graduated from the Swanburn Academy for Poor Bright Females and the feral children that she is called upon to educate. I found the humorous writing style and characters to be silly and enjoyable in their own right, but to add rather than detract from the story itself. My only complaint is that the book had a cliffhanger ending, which is rather unfair.
