i only read the first third because i found the book stressful.
I have always felt an affinity with Poe. The dreary mood and imagery of The Raven drew me in, and the suspense kept me on edge. Through the work of Poe, I found someone to connect with, even centuries after his own death. The poems have always been near and dear to me, and this book has a special place on my bookshelf for daily perusing... The City Under the Sea and Lenore demonstrate the beauty of the language and the use of allegory... But I could seriously gush for hours about Poe. I hope he found his Lenore...
I thought that this book was full of drama and I love a book with a lot of drama in it. It the kind of book where once you pick it ujp you cant put it down cause you want to see what happens at the end of it.
