I've read this book 4 times in the last two years, and I constantly find myself thinking back to it. This is a book that truly haunts me all the time. I love the story, the descriptions, and the suspense that carries through until the last page.
Some parts made me laugh out loud in public. Other parts made me want to hide, knowing the public was watching me read this.
Monfredo did her research, she makes you feel the trauma and fear of living through a war. Very good.
