Out of the three books in this series that I read, this one had the most action. And it was all in the last 20 pages or so. Although it intrigued me the most, it had a slow start and took me the longest to finish.

I like the concept of this book.. and I was prepared to completely fall in love with it. And perhaps it does deserve an extra star... but I really felt like something was missing. I either would have liked the story to start sooner, or at least in some way explain how things were before Winn-Dixie.

Interesting. I did learn a little bit about bike racing but had figured most of it out already.
