This book was full of misinformation. It listed the nightclub Apocalypse Now (which can possibly be the most famous nightclub in all of Vietnam) in Hanoi when it really is in Saigon. I stopped reading it once I saw that because I couldn't believe anything else listed in this guidebook.

I am reading this because sooo many people have recommended it. It's really good and it absorbs you; you can't put it down. There are three interwoven stories, with three different narrators. I finished this book in about three days. I loved the old-fashioned Southern setting, but it was really uncomfortable to know that this took place when my mother and father were growing up, as in, not that long ago. It was really interesting to read the author interview at the back of the book, which explains why she wanted to write this story.

Lover Unbound by J.R. Ward is book #5 in the series The Black Dagger Brotherhood . BDB is an adult-aimed series about a vampire group and their fight against an evil undead group called, The Lessers. This book main protaganists are Vischous and Jane, a human doctor. An interesting story, it had the usual number of unexpected twists and turns and fascinating characters I have learned to expect from this series.
