I really loved this book. It was a super easy read. I felt like it had a sci-fi edge along with a murder mystery and dystopian feeling. I didn't feel like there was a huge romance here despite the cover of the book and pretense. Maybe this will show up more later in the other two books slated to come out. This was so different than what I'm used to reading and having said that I really loved it. I have read other reviews that feel it lacked depth but what do you expect??? Its written for young adults. I enjoy YA because its interesting but not so involved that it takes forever to read. If you dont like that don't read YA novels!! I really cannot wait for the next book which I have read doesnt come out till January next year ughhh!!! But, hopefully it will be worth the wait!
(Actually read the 2009 version.) Though our trip was no where near as stressful as the book might build you up for, there are still tons of great tips in here. If you have kids, you must read about the swap system for rides!
