Malgonia Bujalsky Bujalsky থেকে I Vaccari PC, Italy
This is possibly my favourite sci-fi book. Brilliantly written this book is exactly why sci-fi can be a relevant and challenging genre. The ideas that Butler puts forward are profound but she does it wrapped in a an engaging story and great characterization. This series takes on colonization and the troubled relationship that one has with the colonizer. It discusses how different individuals come up with different solutions that work for them. Butler has a remarkable way of taking on complex ideas in a non-dogmatic way, leaving judgment up to the reader.
Loved it! Made me cry at the end. I've been reading bits and pieces of it to my son. I love Vonnegut's attitude.
