Lovely lovely LOVELY! I am still swooning. I can't wait to see what adventures Julia & Gabriel get up to in the sequel. This book makes me want to learn Italian & brush up on my (very rusty) French. Also makes me even more anxious to see Florence. The author's voice is very descriptive and having known only a little bit about Dante, I found myself intrigued by it. I may have to read it over the summer, it'll give me something to do with my time once school is out =P The Professor & Julia both had some major hurdles to overcome, each extremely difficult. Gabriel's was especially heartbreaking & I definitely didn't see that coming. I am looking forward to them growing into their love together & seeing Julia become more secure & confident in herself as a woman. I think Julia helps Gabriel be more at peace with himself. She quiets his demons. They both fulfill a missing part of the other & that's what makes their love beautiful, the mutual completion (not THAT kind of mutual completion, you pervs!;) I will now float away on my swoony, Professor-loving cloud =)
