This was an excellent book, with great insight into the life of a young boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Written in the first person, it therefore has a very detached feel, as Christopher cannot relate to people or understand love, happiness, sadness and so on, and it's very strange to feel both Christopher's detatchment, but also to be aware of the feeling and unhappiness of other character's in the book through his detached eyes. He reports their reaction to events without understanding the emotions behind them, whereas we can understand so much more. It's quite heartbreaking, but not in any conventional way! Recommended!
