Marquez's writing is so beautiful that he could be writing about dog poop and it would sound lovely. I got really into the read, but found it to drag a little about 3/4 of the way through. I felt like the story could have been wrapped up a bit sooner, or with more things occuring, but I still enjoyed reading it, and would recommend it.
