Read the Laurell K. Hamilton short. It was okay, but not what I read Laurell for. Laurell's strength is in creating characters you want to spend a lot of time with. Original shorts don't fit that formula. I would have preferred 30-40 pages of Anita or Merry. 10/30/2009 ***** Ok, I just read the LKH short, but I'm tired of leaving it on my to-read shelf.
