Second volume of the manga. The timid Hiyokoi continues to like the charismatic and popular Yuushin. From what I remember, the volume covers Valentine's day and the adoption of a cat. I'm still neutral to this manga, since I don't think there's enough conflict to really make it interesting. Yuushin seems to like Hiyokoi, at least as a friend, maybe more, but Hiyokoi doesn't have the courage to confess and is even more unsure of herself because of Yuushin's beautiful childhood friend, who is always hanging around him. Hiyokoi is popular or at least liked at school; she has friends and no one wishes her ill. She doesn't seem to have any past traumas either, she's just timid. Same goes for Yuushin, who's popular and easygoing. Usually at this stage the male lead would have revealed some dark past or female peers would be bullying the heroine or SOMETHING. Not to say that I'm wanting the story to be more generic than it is, but it's pretty bland reading.
I just took this out from the library. I can't wait to start it.
