This book took me several months to get through. Pirsig often states something that would take me a few weeks to get my head around. As a motorcycle rider and backyard mechanic his ruminations on the subject are spot on. The style of the book is a bit heady but I found it thoroughly enjoyable and am likely to read it again with pencil in hand.
