Eh. While this an important book to read before Knightfall, it wasn't all that great, although it does have some great Bruce-and-Alfred moments and other bits with good characterization. (The third star is for the burrito scene alone.) It's possible I'd have liked this one better if I hadn't listened to the Knightfall audio book before, because huge parts of this story are covered in that one as well.
