The book is engaging. I made it through the first 100 no problem. A little far fetched and childish. But learn some things about what it means to be a historian and anthropologist and a little bit about old world Budapest, Turkey and Ottoman Empire. Plus there are vampires, which is the main subject. Always a reason to keep reading. 700 pages.
