This was a wonderful novel and I fully plan to reread it soon. Faulkner use of each character to move the plot along was brilliant. Each narrative felt like being dropped right into someone's head and then figuring out that person's mind. The Bundren family is dysfunctional but close, though not in the sense that the children receive much instruction or affection from their parents. Faulkner's characters are universal and I loved to love and hate them.
