Wow, very good & powerful stuff that I need to think on, digest, and re-read later.

According to one of my friends, I don't like this book because I don't like people making fun of the French. I don't think that's it, though - but there's only so much bad faith I can take, and Stephen Clarke used up his entire allowance after about 10 pages.
