Even if you like the movie, please PLEASE read the book. While they understandably had to cut many of the B (and C, and D--lots of supporting character's in that little Irish town) storylines for the movie, they also completely changed the trajectory of the main story. In my opinion, the book's ending feels much more satisfying and real.
