I know, I know. He's not like David Sedaris. Heard that. But there still just was something missing in Fraud. It was not serious enough or funny enough. It seemed to be stuck somewhere in between. Oh well. Every book isn't for everyone.
To be honest, it really got slow about halfway through and I ended up skimming the rest of the book. As long as she stayed and didn't try to escape, the FARC were very friendly with her, got excited for her to come listen to the radio and taught her how to weave belts. It was like she wasn't telling us something? Overall, the book did have a good message about how you shouldn't take your life for granted.
