Very enjoyable, and exactly what I needed after so many crazy weeks. I read it expecting a fun, compelling adventure, and that's exactly what I got. The only real reason for the 4-star review rather than a 5-star was the fact that, while definitely enjoyable, the book didn't have any deeply meaningful things to say--again, I didn't expect it to. Lived up to my expectations fantastically, and I would recommend it anyone looking for an exciting way to while away these long, rainy late fall days.
Very interesting read. Makes you think about homebirths and the fairness of practive relevant to midwives. Most of them are very experience yet cannot get any respect from the medical community.
