One of the most beautiful Books I have ever read from the perceptive of its language, which doesn't surprise me having been familiar with Leonard Cohen's song writing and poetry. Sometimes, though, I felt that the language got in the way of the story. Really could be a four star or a three star. I would recommend this book if you like beautiful allusions and writing and plot is tertiary
