Vonnegut at his satirical best!
A story about India itself, told by a likeable mob boss and a humble "policeman" -- truly fantastic! Well written, with a story that kept me eager at all times to read it, but not eager for it to end. I have read many books about India recently; this has to rank near the top, if not AT the top. Think "Shantaram," but more involved, deeper characters, etc. I strongly recommend it! Having said that, it did have one flaw -- I would have liked a translation for some of the Indian words -- I had to guess or stop reading to find the definition at the end of the book. Everything was there and the definitions were good -- but i would have preferred page notes with the definition to avoid having to stop for "awhile" to find the meaning. However, I still gave it 5 stars!
Ok now we get into it....this is going to be a great series...
