There were parts I really liked in this book, but the writing was a bit choppy and she skipped over time sometimes and then went back-kind of confusing. I enjoyed the story-hearing how an American woman adapts to life in France. It makes me really really want to go! The recipes looked good, but too fancy for this mom of 3. I think I will couple a few, though, and give them a try. Worth a read.
Like Barb I found the story a bit contrived, but I didn't mind; I think it takes a lot of creativity to accurately write from the point of view of an autistic person. I think it really helped me understand autism.
