I liked that this book introduced the Holacaust in a simple and kid-friendly way. It gave details about this time in history from a kid's perspective which makes it relevant and important to children. I would definitely use this story as a way to plant the seeds of the Holacaust information in their heads but would use other books to delve further into this time period.
