This book was a very good book, even though it didn't stay so true to the original series. At times it became a tad boring but the outcome of the events was worth the wait. Being a large fan of the original books of Artemis Fowl, I must admit that the way the story played out was not as good as the others so I am a little disappointed. If it were an independent book in its own series, however, this book surely would've been successful.
