Extremely well-written thriller set in Japan. John Rain is an intriguing character and I love how this novel takes you so completely into Tokyo and the Japanese culture but through the eyes of somebody who is both of American and Japanese descent. I can't wait to read the rest of the John Rain series. Note that author Barry Eisler is from the Bay Area.
