Not as "amazing" as I'd hoped it would be, and I was not enamored of the main character or Hemingway. The story plodded along for me, and frankly by the end I just wanted to smack both of them: him for being a real prick, her for being so incredibly weak she just took what he dished out, right to the end, sometimes in unbelievable ways.
Yep, I'm rolling my eyes. A cousin to Jane Austin's work, in other words: not my thing.
