A very fundamental look at patterns in prices over centuries, Eye-opening to one, like me, who doesn't take to the "wave theories" of markets. In the context of the waves Fischer sees, our current crisis is just the beginning of a period of very rough times. Most of the book is technical appendices. The important parft to read is the basic narration (235 or so pages out of this 500+ page book). Fischer is a very good historian who writes very well. A good read!
