An interesting story of friendship between two twelve year olds. Both Max and Freak are kind of weird. Max has learning difficulties and finds school very hard. Freak is really brainy, but he is physically disabled. Together they call themselves 'Freak the Mighty'. Interesting to read. The ending is surprising.
