If you are interested in pyschedelics and shamanism, this is a great introductory read
This book was disappointing. It has a wonderful premise and I had high hopes for it, but the story never really went anywhere. The writing was beautiful at times, and the journal of love notes that gets passed around through each section is very touching. However, not a lot happens and it could've been so much more. Darn.
