I thoroughly enjoyed this. Larry was a unique force and it would have been a darn shame if he had left us without his story. While Larry tells most of that story himself, the comments from those closest to him are just as valuable and, at times, probably more insightful. One comment early in the book suggests that Larry might have done more for the state of Utah than anyone except for Brigham Young. It's hard to argue with that and the story of how he did it is well worth reading. Larry did a lot of great things, but his greatest contribution was keeping the Jazz in Utah. For that alone, he should be granted sainthood. And Gail's epilogue -- which she reads herself in the audio version of the book -- is a stirringly honest account that will make the toughest Utahn well up. We all miss Larry.
Interested in learning about what we're doing in Iraq...
