Well I was hoping the second one wouldn't let me down after liking the first one so much and it didn't! It got frustrating at times because this is one heroine who def. does NOT get anything handed to her. To say the least. Messing up and doing the wrong thing galore. That is great, but after a while I was so upset for her that it made me upset. Also there were times in which nothing happened for a while and got boring. BUT, those were small things. I just have fun with these books, they are different and just a great smart crazy wild story. What I love the most is how they get the imagination going. It's one of those stories that when I start reading the whole room disappears and I forget where I am and everything. I now have to get the third!
To be honest, it was difficult to get through. It was a bit tedious at times, but the writing itself was just beautiful. Very, very well written. I find it hard to believe that it's YA fiction. You might need to keep a dictionary handy!
