I had a great time reading it, and loved the unique setting. However the mystery itself was not very exciting, therefore I was never compelled to read the following books.
Good thing I read it after the Davinci Code because the structure is so similar. I enjoyed the sacred vs. profane dialectic which started making the book interesting about half way through. This is good for an airplane ride.
