This book is about a minor character from the author's first book, "Gods in Alabama". I did not like this book as well, simply as the main character is not as "likable", definitely crazy, and the subject matter is fairly dark/gritty. It is very well written though and the story resolves itself w/no unanswered questions (which always pleases me). I will definately read more by this author.
