Oscar Wilde portrays society with an unflinching clarity. He clearly shows how Dorian damns himself, and destroys his own chances of redemption. There is a reason why this is a classic, and why Wilde is still a genious.
This book is certainly thought provoking. I'd like to read it again. It really made me ponder my own life and relationships, and I really appreciate that in a book.
