2.5 Interesting characters and an interesting period of time. I kind of found it jarring to be a book set abroad, along with being a book in verse, and then also set historically. Almost too many elements going on. And it was way too long. That said, I didn't put it down, and the writing's pretty darn good. Not sure I buy the male poet, though, given how reluctant he was to write in the first place. Alas, I do see the teen readers who would like this one quite easily!

This was my ALL TIME Favorite BOOK of the Black Dagger Brotherhood sio far, and Zsadist is hands down MY FAVORITE brother at the moment and I don't think I'll EVER be able to trade him for another!! This book blew me away! It was raw, heart breaking, loving, ground breaking, and heart warming, all in one! Zsadist's story made me cry and left me horrified, until, just like him, he found Bella! I cheered and jumped up & down, when he found Bella and let her in!! What a roller coaster ride! He's the scariest, toughest, and most rebellious of the brother's, but to me, he's also the most loving and caring!! He just hides it very very well!! Read it! You'll love it!
