I graciously won a free copy from goodreads giveaway! This book is angled toward younger kids, but due to some of the vocabulary in this book, I would recommend to youth who have a higher learning level than average. The book had a good concept, I just had a hard time connecting to any of the characters. The parents don't like the grandparent and try to force their kid be 'normal', while the grandfather just floats in and out of their lives like it doesn't matter and is portrayed as a great person. I think some teachable moments need to happen in this book, which is why I only gave 3 stars.
