This did not feel like a novel, more like a collection of connected short stories. I am not sure I liked it. I'm not sure I got it, especially the last chapter. I think one of her themes in the book was missed messages and I think I missed this one. I guess I am just not that cool, not enough sex, drugs and rock & roll in my younger years.
