Seriously not my cup of tea. Edit: So I put this book down in September, but decided to give it another shot. It is still not my cup of tea, and it was, honestly, a real slog for me to get through. I appreciate all the world-building and plotting and imagination that Mieville has done here, but I just found this book silly and weird and not as much fun as I have had with his other novels. With that said, I thought that the Weaver character was simply brilliant.

I didn't actually finish this book...I couldn't get past the first few pages. I just couldn't get into it. I was distracted and bored, telling me it wasn't good enough to continue. Have heard great things about it though...
