Is out intelligence level being lowered by the "dumbing down" of parents, teachers, and school systems? Are Pharmaceutical Companies price fixing by holding proprietary information and patents on discoveries made in publicly supported academic institutions? Should the government stop paying farmers to not plant crops and any surplus be purchased by the government to feed poorer nations? Should only those who pay into Social Security be allowed to benefit from the system? These and many other questions are taken to task by Marrs and whether you agree with him or not, the book is thought provoking and attention getting.
