The first time I read this, I was in high school, and I had thought it was ok. I wasn't too thrilled with the whole sparkling vampire thing, but if I read it with the mentality that they weren't vampires but a different sort of demon it wasn't too bad. Then I read it again a couple years late. It wasn't good the second time around. Not by a long shot. I started noticing things I didn't the first time. Like how selfish and whiny Bella was. How too stereotypically dark and mysterious Edward was. The only thing I liked as much the second time around was Alice. Gotta love Alice. Now whenever I think of Twilight I think of that small blurb they had in the movie Hotel Transylvania when they're on the plane. I laughed so hard at that. In my mind, that short 2 or 3 second clip explains the whole Twilight story.
