This book is deeply touching. The author spent 10 years in foster care. It's appalling how a child in foster care is treated not only by foster parents but by the state officials who are supposed to "keep watch" over them. I realize all foster parents are not like Andrew Bridge's but probably more are than aren't.

This one's not as good as the first volume, but it's a lot of fun to read. I liked the little moments (like Kon having to stay at the Tower to do his homework, and like Tim getting the Titans a Batmobile) better than the overall plot.
