I was intrigued by the book because of its illustrations. Usually I know better than to buy a book just because of the art work, but I couldn't help it. And that was a big reason why I kept reading. The way the book was set up was beautiful. I also loved that it was a recently written book but had that old, vintage fairy tale feel. But I wouldn't say I would recommend it. It's plot was dry and the characters were surface level.
