After reading reviews for this book on different web sites I felt like I need to write a little more than just "I loved it!" My rating for the book is definitely solid 5 stars. And I did love the book. What I cannot believe is that people give bad rating because they are upset with the ending of the book. I personally think that the ending is what made this books a 5-star book for me. I also was upset how things turned out at the end - so much that I had to keep taking Tylenol whole day to kill my headache. But I cannot stop thinking about this book. I started another one today and cannot concentrate on it because my thoughts keep floating back to Hard Bitten. I keep wondering what will happen in the next book. To sum it all up - Hard Bitten is definitely my favorite book in this series. And I totally do trust the author that Merit will have her well deserved happily ever after.
