This was an incredible story of a woman who walked across America leaving from Spokane in the 1890's. Her story was lost until recently. I loved her spirit and can't believe what she did. Besides having 9 children, she survived the elements, poverty, and showed spirit in the sufferage movement, and through out her life. I think this would make a great bookclub book, so much to discuss about her life experiences. I just happened upon the book and really surprised how much I enjoyed her story.
