Cover artist What Up? In looking at the reviews I think everyone is united in their confusions over why Tom Welling is on the cover of this book? Its a fair question. Anyways shitty covers aside this was a fun,quick read,the dynamic between the characters was interesting,the back and forth between siblings was funny and sweet, both brothers having feelings for the same girl, all good stuff. But the Magic,Demons and Magicians were lacking depth and pizazz(yep I went there,I said Pizazz). It felt like we missed a lot of the backstory with that area of the story, it was just a bit flat.I made a comment about the dance off,I think if there had been a bit more backstory for me I would not have been snickering think about Justin Timberlake and a demon. Still good YA fun,cute brothers fighting demons(Supernatural much?) and some normals tag along for the ride.
