Well...this book certainly was wacky. From a talking donkey named Daisy, a motorcycle guy/true seeker, atheists, time travel, comic book shops, and of course...a whole slew of imaginary Jesus. From the Portland Jesus, Attorney Jesus, Legalistic Jesus, New Age Jesus, etc., etc., etc., there was quite a lot going on in this book. And this was my main problem - where to focus? How to follow the plot? Sometimes I found the dialogue witty, sometimes I found it too preachy, sometimes I just found it tiring. But ultimately, it made me think about faith and Christianity and that is what this book was meant to do.

Read this back in the day. For the life of me I can't remember what it's about. I do remember thought that I loved it and that I normally hate fiction books, so yeah, it's a good sci-fi-ish book. Read it only on the insistence of a friend of mine, who I remember I thanked after I read it.
